Meet the show producers
Cris Raposo has been producing consumer shows since 2005. Cris is an outstanding accomplishment and boon to the company's success.
In projecting his vision for future Northeast Home Shows, he states:
“I plan to further develop and establish the home design, remodeling, and garden shows as the trend setting and most recognized home design and improvement source and event in the region.
I look forward to working with businesses located in South Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, as well as those looking to break into the region. From the largest of home related corporations to the local businesses, hundreds of businesses seek branding and exposure opportunities, and I plan to transform the home design trade show experience into something spectacular for both our exhibitors and patrons, plus a new generation of homeowners and prospective businesses.”
Ian Abreu has an extensive background in business development, marketing, trade shows, customer service and client relations as he currently serves as the Director of Business Development at the One SouthCoast Chamber of Commerce - a 1,300 member business association organization which covers 22 cities and towns all throughout Southeastern Massachusetts.
Some of the business-to-consumer/business-to-business trade shows Ian has been involved in/overseen over the last 10 years: "The SouthCoast Job Fair," "The New Bedford Seaport Chowder Festival," "The Greater New Bedford Home, Health & Wellness Expo," "The SouthCoast Business Expo" and the "Feast of the Blessed Sacrament."
Additionally, Ian is also an elected official in New Bedford, Massachusetts, currently serving as City Councilor At-Large (Council President 2022). He was first elected in 2015, and has finished as the first place/top vote finisher in the last two municipal election cycles.
Since there has not been a regionally-based home show since 2018, Ian is looking forward to having the opportunity to re-connect both industry and consumers alike at this year's Northeast Home Show.
